What can i do legal wise?
I was in a car accident on april 30. I am not at fault. The other person had Esurance. I had to wait until Monday to get a hold of an agent of theirs to process a claim. I got a rental through them and enterprise that was from the 2nd to the 11th of may. My car has been totaled out. The blue book retail value of my car is $3200. They have offered me $2200 for it. I also went to urgent care and had four x-rays, an EKG and a shot of muscle relaxers. The pain pills they prescribed me I had an allergic reaction to and did not take any more. I missed two days at my main job and because I do not have a job, I missed two weeks at my part time job. I deliver pizza and need a car to do that. I can't do that with a rental. Company policy. They are offering me $1000 in medical and lost wages. I still do not have a car so I asked for an extension. They gave me until Saturday. I feel that they are low balling me on everything so I halve yet go agree on anything. I eve not been able to get a bill from the urgent care yet and esurance keeps saying if it is under $1000 they will only give me what the bill is worth nothing else. They keep acting as if I already agreednto everything. What are my options? Should I get a lawyer? Is what they are doing legal?
