I need to get into good shape by the end of summer?
You will not lose your belly fat unless you run or do some form of cardio. You could jump rope if you did not want to run. All ab ripper will do is build your abdominal muscles, it will NOT burn fat. I suggest you do olympic lifts along with jump roping/running. Do weight lifting first: Snatch, Squat, Calf Raisers, on Monday and Thursday. Clean and Jerk, Bench Press, Chin Ups on Tuesday and Friday. After you do your weight lifting is when you do cardio (running or jump roping). The reason is because people who just run won't lose weight because their body will burn its sugars and protein instead of fat. If you weight lift first it will burn all/most of your sugars and protein so when you do cardio it just burns fat.
