Sending hot dogs to a soldier?

I have a friend who is over in Afghanistan right now. In an e-mail he said he would love a ripper (type of hot dog) from a place called Rutts Hut here in New Jersey. Is there any way I would be able to send something like that? Maybe vacuum seal the hot dogs, freeze them & send him the buns seperately. I have no idea because I've never sent a package to a soldier but I'd love to surprise him! Thanks for any info!
