How can i burn downloaded files to dvd?

I use the Ant Video Downloader and can download just about any video i want on the web it works great.but lately ive been wanting to burn the files onto a DVD so i can watch them on my tv. i do have a DVD Burner but 1. cant seem to find a good DVD Ripper program. 2. I cant seem to find a good DVD Burner Program. But besides that like if i want to put a file i downloaded onto disc i just cant seem to find a way to do it. ( most of the downloads are FLV Files but some are MPEG - 4 Files. is there a free and relatively easy way to do this?
