Disk drive wont read certain files and crash Windows Explorer?

Alright im going to have to fill you in here, This has happened to me and left me very PI@@ed, I had well over 50 dvds backed up of pictures, music, home videos ETC ect. off Various hard drives iv had in the passes 11 years , before i destroyed them, Thought i had every thing burnt off nicely, did my burns in slllllllloooooowwww speeds to insure every thing would go according to plan.. HA! i was wrong, couple weeks later went to review some of them on a raining day and well well well half of them are now coasters on my end tables, turns out SOME blank dvd/cd's are cheaper then others ALSO some that appear to be burning right are lieing to you. come to find out there's a reason 50 blank dvds for 25 dollars sounds like a great bargain, because they are cheap and nine chances out of 10 are junk, hell iv had burners reject them because they cant be burn;t, so i have learnt a lesson here, when it comes to MASS back up , im spending the extra 30, 40 even 50 dollars on good blank media so i will know for sure its done right,
