My cats purr sounds nasally, like she has a runny nose?

My cat Bella is a grey and white domestic short hair. I put her up on my bed, and she started to nest (you know, where they look like they're padding on the spot when they get comfortable), she started to purr unusually loud, so I had a listen, and it sounded a bit odd, like she had a runny nose or some phlegm in her throat, because she swallowed a couple of times. She's only 3 years old, so she is not old. She likes to go across the road into the neighbours garden and disappear under big leafy bushes. Does she have an allergy or something? It is winter time, and it is very cold outside and Bella does not often come inside at night, could it be the cold? Vets, people with cats, anyone who has experience, please answer? :3

Shrimp became mushy/grimy...too much lime juice or bad shrimp?

I made Papaya Salad with Shrimp. I used julienned green papaya, carrot, cilanto, mint and poached halved shrimp. The dressing is made of fresh-squeezed lime juice, fish sauce and sugar. I made it early this morning and the shrimp has now became mushy and grimy...totally lost its original snap. Is it because I left it too long in the dressing? I don't recall this happening before...

Does she like me what should I do? I was so sure she did?

Me and her used to talk to each other everyday for an hour straight in p.e. we'd walk along the track together talk about our dreams and all kinds of personal stuff. See im the new kid so I wasn't sure off the bat but i got such a strong vibe we've known each other for 2 months we were good friends for a month and a halve until this guy told her Ive figured he made me look bad when he told her I know this to be true I don't know what he said but im guessing he said i was obsessed with her. She's pretty uptight ( future doctor college driven type) but I felt something special when we talked. I have a bad past of done bad things at my old school I doubt she knows this but I do have a big chip on my shoulder its obvious but I dint think its a bad thing. Its awkward talking to her now I mean we still say hi but I can tell sometimes she tries to ignore me. Ive ****** up before but I want to try and make this work out. Keep in mind she and me used to talk all the time and it felt like even from the start we understood each other but I don't know please help!!!!!!!!
